Experience the days of old as the sun rises over a breathtaking African landscape at Impala Safari. Established in 1994, the proprietors lovingly began the long rehabilitation process of its natural flora and fauna.

Taking control in 2000, Impala Safari Reserve now covers an extraordinary 10 000 acres.

Nestled in the malaria free Northern Waterberg Mountains this exclusive reserve awaits you. Indulge yourself in calm rustic elegance and ethnic African charm throughout the lodge. When staying at the lodge it is exclusively for you, your family and friends during the time of your stay.

51 mammal species including Leopard, Buffalo, Sable and the rare White Rhino are free to roam. Guests spend many happy hours spotting some of the 326 bird species in flight among majestic mountain ranges as rare and beautiful reptiles grace sunny stones in the valleys and the banks of the streams.

The reserve is 2,5 hours drive from Pretoria via Vaalwater or Thabazimbi. There is also a fixed wing runway 1300m from East to West.

Created with a keen eye for detail each air conditioned bedroom has its own balcony, satellite TV, minibar and en-suite heated bathroom with bath tub and shower. Some of the rooms have a loft for the children.

On the outside viewing area and adjoining pool deck you will not only enjoy stunning views but also excellent service from friendly staff understanding the needs of international visitors.

A wide selection of game like Rhino, Buffalo, Sable, Giraffe and Nyala can be seen all year round.
